This 4-day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you deep into the misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Experience the thrill of tracking a gorilla family and spend one unforgettable hour in their presence.
Along the way, enjoy scenic drives through Uganda’s rolling hills, engage with local communities, and stay in comfortable mid-range or luxury lodges surrounded by nature. DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your guide and begin your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda (8–9 hours). Enjoy views of lush countryside, tea plantations, and small villages. Arrive in the evening and settle in at your forest lodge.
Optional: Book a domestic flight to Kisoro/Kihihi to reduce travel time.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing. You’ll then be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek through the dense rainforest, which may take 2–6 hours depending on the group’s location. Once found, spend one magical hour watching them feed, play, and interact.
Return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest or optional community walk or Batwa cultural experience in the afternoon.
