DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Upon arrival in Kigali, you’ll be welcomed by your driver-guide. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial (optional) or enjoy a short city tour before departing for Volcanoes National Park in Musanze (approx. 2.5–3 hours’ drive). Arrive at your lodge and relax amidst the beautiful scenery.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. You’ll then begin your gorilla trek, hiking through bamboo forests and steep terrain. Once your assigned gorilla family is located, spend up to one hour observing their behaviors—an awe-inspiring and emotional experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and optional afternoon cultural visit to the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village.
