Then venture deep into the misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you’ll experience the rare and awe-inspiring encounter of trekking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
This carefully crafted safari offers the perfect blend of savannah wildlife, scenic landscapes, and close-up primate encounters, all while staying in comfortable mid-range or luxury lodges.
DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, travel west to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through beautiful countryside and crater lakes. Arrive in time for a short evening game drive to spot buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and possibly lions.

Begin with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains to see lions, elephants, hyenas, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds.

Drive south through the Ishasha sector—keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions—on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge nestled in the forested hills.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trek. Hike through dense jungle terrain, guided by expert trackers, until you come face-to-face with a gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing them before hiking back. The afternoon is free to relax or take an optional community walk.
