DAY BY DAY ITINERARY


Depart Nairobi early morning and drive to Mount Kenya National Park (approx. 4 hrs) Begin trek from Naro Moru Park Gate (2,400m) Hike through forest and bamboo zone to Met Station Distance: ~9km / Duration: 3–4 hours Dinner and overnight at Met Station Camp
Hike through the vertical bog and moorland zone Stunning views of the Teleki Valley and Batian/Nelion peaks Distance: ~10km / Duration: 5–6 hours Dinner and overnight at Mackinder’s Camp
